Shri Krishna Kant  has been acting as the Executive Chairman of the Company since 17th March, 1994 who holds a Master’s Degree in Science and  possesses over 50 years’ of vast and varied experiences in the field of Oil Exploration and field services and has retired from the post of Regional Director of Eastern Region, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC).   Considering his proven background , competence and vast and varied business experience, he was  re-appointed as an Executive Chairman for five years from 18th  June, 2003,  the tenure of which expired on  17th June, 2008.

During his tenure, the Company not only showed remarkable progress year after year and also registered significant upsurge in Growth in terms of Gross Income and in Net Profit, besides encountering successfully various Challenges that were emanated in the Market and conducted efficient and effective management of the affairs of the Company. His valuable contribution is considered necessary  for  further growth  of the Company in coming years. With a view to  continue to avail his services as the Executive Chairman and to compensate adequately for the  contributions to be received from him and to motivate him for bringing still better performance of the Company in coming years. He retired as the Regional Director with ONGC and since then has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures. He joined AOSL in 1994 and since then has ably guided the company. He is known within the industry for his technical competency and experience.

Shri Avinash Manchanda is associated with the Company since Incorporation and was appointed as Whole-time Director w.e.f. 1st February, 1993 and  then promoted as CEO & Managing Director of the Company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology and D.I.I.T.  from Indian Institution of Technology, Kharagpur and possesses over 36 years’ of vast and varied experiences in the Industrial Management with 22 years of extensive experience only in the Oilfield related Services.
 
Considering his background, competence and vast and varied business experience, he was  re-appointed as Managing Director for five years from 1st   February, 2003 to 31st   January, 2008, the tenure of which expires on 31st January, 2008.

Avinash was the founding promoter of AOSL and looks after the day-to-day affairs of the company. He is a graduate from IIT Kharagpur. He has been involved with the Oil Services industry since the mid 80’s. His efforts have been instrumental in the company successfully completing most of the challenging assignments in the Indian North East.

Prior to founding Samara Capital in late 2006, Sumeet briefly worked at Goldman Sachs, NY in their Proprietary Investments Group. He also has experience with Citigroup’s private equity business in India and Citigroup’s Corporate & Investment Banking business. Sumeet earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. He also earned a Masters in Business from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

He is B.Com. with 37 years experience in Banking & Finance. He served in Central Bank of India for 33 years as an Officer, Branch Manager and Regional Manager and finally retired as Chief Internal Auditors , Audit Zone, Nagpur.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) and possesses wide and varied experience of over 35 years in Corporate Management Consulting, Audit, Tax & International Advisory Services. He holds directorship in M/s. R Kabra Corporate Advisors Ltd and ITNL Enso Rail Systems Ltd and he is the Chairman of Audit Committee – ITNL Enso Rail Systems Ltd. He has consented to act as a Director of the Company.

He is Master of Science (Physics) and Master of Science, (Mathematics) with Research in Quantam Physics from I.I.T. Kanpur. He is Geophysicist by profession and has vast experience of about 39 years in managing the exploration/developments projects for hydrocarbon encompassing field operations to corporate functioning. The experience profile covers multiple sections of Petroleum Exploration, Development & Management of crucial projects in Assam and Gujarat, has 20 years experience in managing and supervision of vibroseis /seismic parties in various capacities in India and abroad. He has been with ONGC for about 37 Years and left ONGC as Executive Director-Head Corporate Team. Working at various level on different projects at ONGC, has transformed him as a valuable professional.

He is B.Sc in Business Administration from Carnegie Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He is good at Business Administration, holds directorship in M/s. Enso Limited and Enso Secutrack Ltd.

He is a Graduate from Princeton University and M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, has had more than 13 years of rich experience in origination and working on deals spanning M&A , private equity , equity capital markets, distressed debt, structured fund raising and derivatives coving gamut of industries – technology, pharmaceuticals, cement, textiles, infrastructure , oil and gas , telecom and power. At present he is associated with Samara Capital in the capacity of the Managing Director. He has consented to act as a Director of the Company.
