Asian Oilfield Services Ltd has informed BSE that Mr. Sumeet Narang has been appointed as a Nominee Director of Investor Company, M/s. Samara Capital Partners Fund I Ltd., on the Board of Directors of the Company w.e.f. January 30, 2008, in accordance with the Investment Agreement signed by the Company with M/s. Samara Capital Partners Fund I Ltd.

Being Investor Director, he is appointed as Member of the Share Holders' Grievance
Committee, Audit Committee and also Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.
